This is a quick tour to the pink city of Rajasthan. A same-day trip from Delhi to Jaipur and back by car can be a bit tight, considering the distance between the two cities. The one-way journey takes approximately 5 to 6 hours, depending on traffic conditions and the route taken. Still it goes easy with the culture and heritage lover who wants to enjoy the best in the less time. Here’s a suggested itinerary:

Morning:

Afternoon visit City Palace, a beautiful palace complex with a blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Allocate about 2 hours for the visit. Shopping: If time permits, you can indulge in some shopping in the local markets, like Johari Bazaar or Bapu Bazaar, for Jaipur’s famous handicrafts and jewelry.
Late Afternoon begin your return journey to Delhi by around 4:00 PM to ensure you reach back in the evening. Arriv in Delhi and you will be dropped at the place of your choice in Delhi.
